Bushwalking Victoria arranges Public Liability insurance and optional personal accident insurance for all members of affiliated clubs and subject to certain conditions, for individual members.

All temporary members are required to sign an Acknowledgement of Risk form (updated July 2011) prior to participating in an activity.  All club members are also required to sign an Acknowledgement of Risk at least once each year, usually at the time of renewing their membership.
