These special events are organised and hosted by member club(s). Participation is open to members of affiliated and associated clubs and individual members of Bushwalking Victoria.

Sunday 5 April 2009.

This will be a special Federation Walk to celebrate BWV's 75^th Anniversary year which is being organised by the 75^th Anniversary Working Group.  For more information see the 75^th Anniversary tab.

Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 October 2008.
Hosted by Ballarat Bushwalking and Outdoor Club (BBOC).

Based at Beaufort. Focus is on the Mt Cole area, and will include Mt. Cole, Mt. Buangor and Langi Ghiran State Parks.  It will include walks on the famous Beeripmo Walk.  There will also be historically focused walks around Beaufort and surrounding areas.  This is truly a beautiful area to walk in, and BBOC is really keen to show off their ‘backyard’.

This is also the first time this area has been used for Federation Walks.
The small township of Beaufort is really excited and supportive of this venture and participants will have sole use of the caravan park, adjacent football oval and facilities for the weekend.
