This Bushwalking Victoria committee is made up of representatives from clubs.
It has a convener who coordinates its activities and all members are volunteers.
The committee deals with all land management issues affecting the integrity and bushwalking amenity of our natural areas.
It contributes to the formulation of public land management
plans and provides additional comment at draft stage and
prepares submissions regarding the preservation and integrity of
natural areas (recent submissions are available on the
What's New page).
Representatives appear at public meetings and review panel hearings as necessary.
The committee has developed a conservation policy.
