Changes to the Packhorse Track

Goldfields Track - Yarra Ranges

Volunteers Needed - Saturday, 13 May.

Parks Victoria have asked BTAC if we can provide 12 volunteers to help with track clearing on Saturday, 13 May on the Goldfields Track in the Yarra Ranges.

Most of the work will consist of brush cutting, hand tools (loppers etc.), construction/repair on bridge, signage and div around shafts till made safe.

Meet at the Big Peninsula carpark, off the Woods Point Road near McMahons Creek (just off the map - Melways Page 292, past Little Peninsula).

With your help we can get this wonderful track open soon.

Time: 9.00am. The location is one hour and 50 minutes from Melbourne.
