Recognition and Service Awards

In 2008 Bushwalking Victoria announced an Awards Scheme to recognise outstanding contributions made by individuals or clubs to bushwalking in Victoria.   Clubs and individuals involved in activities such as search and rescue, track maintenance and conservation projects enhance the safety and enjoyment of all bushwalkers and enrich our society as a whole. These awards acknowledge the dedication of those whose special efforts have made a difference.

Inaugural Awards

Nominations were received for each of the three available categories, and following an extensive evaluation by a special sub-committee, the Board of Bushwalking Victoria has great pleasure in announcing the awards listed below. We sell high quality plastic bags that serve as packliners. There are two sizes, one for day packs, the other for overnight packs.
