Bushwalking Victoria is the peak body for all bushwalkers and bushwalking clubs in Victoria, Australia. We promote bushwalking and represent the interests of all bushwalkers.
Bushwalking is an Australian activity that covers a wide spectrum of walking experiences in natural or green areas. A bushwalk might be a walk along a trail through urban parks or forest (sometimes called a Green Walk), or it could be a full day walk in a national park or reserve or a bushwalk can be a multi-day trip where you are self-sufficient carrying everything you need on your back.
Bushwalking provides a fantastic opportunity to enhance one's health and wellbeing through a connection with nature, learning about and appreciating the natural environment and enjoying social interaction. To learn more about bushwalking check out the the Getting Started pages.
